Bio
Samuel Lorenzo (aka Michael J. Loren) is a professional actor and Opera/ Broadway Singer, Concert Artist, and Choir Director. A professional member of Grammy Award Winners of The Chicago Lyric Opera Chorus and The Chicago Symphony Orchestra Chorus for the last 20 years.
Performed in operetta/ opera roles as King Melchior in "Amahl and the Night Visitors;" El Dancairo in "Carmen;" Silvio in "I Pagliacci;" and Sharpless in "Madama Butterfly." As a classical concert artist, he sang/covered for the baritone solo in Brahm's "German Requiem" with Chicago Symphony Orchestra Berlin Tour in 1999; Mozart "Great Mass in C Minor" and Haydn "Mass in B Flat Major" with The Chorus Angelorum; Handel's "Samson" and Haydn "Mass in B flat Major" with The Downers Grove Choral Society, and Handel's "Messiah."
Appeared in TV Ad Commercials and Commercial Print Ads in LA Times, Times Magazine, and Sports Magazine for Century 21 Realty, Motorola Cellular, Toyota, Ligature Book Publisher Inc., Meijer Supermarket and Singapore Airline. Worked with voice over, local film narration, sang and performed in a radio drama program for 2 years with Far East Broadcasting Network. Multi-lingual in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
